Faculty members are encouraged to guide their student teams. In turn, the platform offers them excellent honing of their inherent talents.
The faculty’s responsibility today goes beyond the term “training” with its implications of imparting skills and encompasses a definition that includes formal and informal means of helping students to not only learn new skills, but also develop new insights into application of technology and skills into real time projects. This Challenge provides an excellent opportunity for faculty members to support students’ professional development, as they encounter the challenges that come with putting into practice their evolving understandings about the use of technology to support project-based learning.
To ensure best preparation from all the registered students for this event, a workshop is conducted by Autodesk Certified Trainers in all the locations listed in Table 1. The workshop extensively covers the scope of the skills needed for the competition. Minimum of 6 staff from each campus should attend this Workshop. This workshop is focused mainly towards the staff and staff are to in turn act as mentors for the aspiring students. There is no restriction on number of students participating in the workshop.
