Eligibility:
All the CP01 students pursuing their diploma in NTTF are eligible for this competition.
NTTF is organizing a Design challenge with Autodesk as the technology partner and DMG Mori as Industry Partner.
The design challenge will be deployed in below category.
- Design to Manufacture (CAD-CAM)
All the CP01 students pursuing their diploma in NTTF are eligible for this competition.
The competition focuses on bringing out the best talent in designing & manufacturing with the use of Fusion 360. Digital manufacturing focuses on the skill of the contestant to successfully plan, program and manufacture a part/tool that is given to him in the form of a drawing.
The competition is done in two levels and in 8 units of NTTF that run CP01-Tool Engineering & Digital Manufacturing.

The first level competition will be held in all the above centres. DC Coordinators shall be the faculties from the unit who attended Fusion 360 training before. Best two competitors will be finalized from every unit. The finalist’s from each centre will be attending the final competition organized at Design and Innovation Lab, Bangalore.
The test project at the first level will consist of 3D modelling from a drawing, followed by creating Fusion cam programme. The part (Steel/Aluminium) will be machined in the CNC machine using the generated toolpath.
The test project at the Second level will consist of 3D modelling from a component drawing, followed by creating a core and cavity. The core and cavity will be machined using Fusion CAM and a CNC Machine. The physical parts (manufactured core & cavity) will be used in the evaluation.
The unit level competitions are tentative to be conducted from TBD*. The final competition will be scheduled from TBD*.
